On Instagram, I came across the extraordinary account of Natasja Sadi, a woman in Amsterdam who formerly was a wedding dress designer and more recently has become an accomplished cake maker. She creates sugar flowers, for cake decoration, that one would swear are real flowers. In addition, as a hobby, she creates real flower arrangements that look like they belong in 17th-century Dutch master paintings. I am astounded by her talent and artistic ability, and I thought you would enjoy seeing a sample of her beautiful work.
Her cakes—everything is edible and hand-made by Sadi:
The flowers pictured below are made of sugar. They are too beautiful to eat!
Sadi studies, examines, and dissects real flowers so that she can make her sugar versions as authentic-looking as possible. Look at the detail in this sugar tulip that she created:
Her real floral arrangements are what first caught my eye:
Because Sadi lives in Holland, she has access to gorgeous flowers at the markets all year long. The arrangements pictured in this post are among those that she has created weekly for her home as a hobby.
Sadi collects blue and white Delft vases in all sizes and uses them for her displays:

Isn’t her work exquisite?
Sadi also posts beautiful photos of Amsterdam on Instagram. Here is a photograph she took from her bicycle while riding home from the flower market:
