Our dated kitchen cries out to be renovated, but there will be no kitchen renovation until my husband is on board with the idea. Until that day comes (which I hope will be sooner rather than later!), I must content myself with dreaming about what our new kitchen might look like. I would like a kitchen that’s primarily white with some blue accents.
I have been saving images of blue and white kitchens for many years, and in today’s post I share some of the favorites that I will use for inspiration when the time comes.
Blue and white rattan stools, wood floors, white cabinets, and white stone countertops are at the top of my wish list:
I am also a fan of brass hardware and lighting:
White cabinets and a blue island work well together:
Hidden appliances are nice, as are pretty roman shades:
A cozy banquette with lovely blue and white upholstery would be a bonus:
I like the type of sink and the faucets in the two photos below.
Traditional white subway tile for a backsplash is a no-brainer for me:
I like the ease of open shelving:
Glass front cabinets allow for a decorative display of a blue and white collection:
A gorgeous European range with blue and white platters above it would be lovely:
I’m eager to incorporate these blue-and-white kitchen ideas in my own renovation project . . . some day.
Are you ready to re-do your kitchen? What are your ideas?
