Friday Finds: 8•25•17

Summer is going by too quickly. My daughter started 8th grade this week, and fall is in the air here in Chicago. Have you noticed all the Halloween and fall merchandise on display in the stores? I’m not ready for that!

Here are this week’s Friday finds:

Have you seen all the blue and white items for sale at Williams-Sonoma?

I have always been a fan of Liberty of London prints. They launched a home collection with Anthropologie recently, and there are lots of pretty printed items to choose from!

I am looking forward to reading James Farmer’s latest design book, which comes out next week. I enjoyed this book review, which includes a preview of some of Farmer’s beautiful interiors from the book.

I just learned about this incredible marble-patterned French pottery, called Aptware, that has been made in Provence for centuries. I love the blue and white version in Carolyne Roehm’s table setting above.

For the time being, I am going to continue my summer blog posting schedule of Mondays, Wednesday, and Fridays.  I appreciate your continuing to follow along with me! Enjoy your weekend.

xo, Elizabeth

  1. Oh!! my favorite. Coastal decor and blue and white. I really love the striping on the sofa. Beautiful. The Aptware French pottery is absolutely gorgeous and makes for a very dramatic table setting. I think I will also plan to check out that book by James T. Farmer III. Thank you for sharing!
