Links for the Weekend 7•14•17

I hope you are all having a wonderful summer so far! Here are a few interesting things I found this week:

I enjoyed this colorful Wisconsin lake house designed by one of my favorite Chicago designers, Summer Thornton.

Charming Bee Cottage located in East Hampton is listed for sale.  I loved Frances Schultz’s book about renovating this lovely cottage and I enjoyed her year-long column years ago in House Beautiful that detailed her progress along the way. (header image as well).

On hot nights, I am going to try a few of these Cooking Light recipes for no-cook summer meals.

I tried this trick for bringing wilting hydrangeas back to life and it worked beautifully!

Have a great weekend!

  1. Very interesting tip on how to revive wilting hydrangeas. I’m going to try the boiling water trick the next time this happens. Thank you for sharing the post.
