St. Louis based interior designer Amie Corley creates beautiful, eclectic rooms that are full of color, pattern, and a brilliant mix of antiques and contemporary decor.
I follow Corley on Instagram and have been admiring her latest design projects. This recent kitchen design of hers, classic and elegant, is perfection in my book:
The gorgeous, thick walnut island contrasts nicely with the surrounding white surfaces. I love all the brass fixtures, the ceiling globe and lantern lights and the subtle blue-and-white color scheme. The floor-to-ceiling windows make this space bright and light-filled!
The warm white paint of the kitchen cabinets is Benjamin Moore White Dove. The fabulous blue and white stools with rattan legs are from Serena & Lily. Amidst all of this visual beauty, the blue and white ginger jars on the island are icing on the cake! My search is over—I have found my dream kitchen!

The fabulous green dining room shown below, with its spring green damask drapes and velvet seats, makes me want to paint my own dining room chairs with high-gloss white:
Amie Corley’s designs are a fresh and colorful take on classic traditional style. Her liberal use of pattern and color creates such happy looking spaces.
