Artist Spotlight: Michelle Grayson

I recently came across some beautiful blue and white chinoiserie inspired watercolors  on Instagram by an Australian artist named Michelle Grayson. If you are in the market for some new artwork these paintings are all available for sale. Grayson sells her original paintings on her website which is called Sprout Gallery.  Reproductions of her art work can be purchased on Etsy, through her shop called Sprout Gallery Designs. The reproductions are so reasonably priced!

Here are some photos of Michelle Grayson’s completed paintings along with some  photos of her actually working on her paintings. The images below are taken from the artist’s Instagram feed.

The detail in the blue willow china patterns (3 images below) is incredible! Her paintings are so realistic.

The blue coral below would be pretty in a beach house.

The intricateness of the blue and white Ming vases is stunning:

I think these pagodas would be fabulous in a powder room:

The elephants are appealing too:18160537_117880225434610_4640942176006569984_n

Michelle Grayson’s subjects are not limited to blue and white chinoiserie. She also paints some beautiful green leaf botanicals as seen below:

Isn’t Michelle Grayson talented? This is just a portion of her work, if you would like to explore her paintings in more depth you can visit her website here.
