10 Good-Looking, Budget-Friendly Floor Lamps

Lighting has a tremendous effect on a room’s appearance. Sometimes, we need more than a table lamp and a ceiling light fixture. A floor lamp is often not only the best choice for functionality, but also an opportunity to add a sculptural and decorative element to a space.

Floor lamps are generally expensive; their prices can run into the thousands of dollars. I decided to see if I could find ten good-looking floor lamps each selling for less than $150.

Here is what I came up with:

World Market Chemist Floor Lamp in Brass, $144

Target Threshold Crosby Light $49.99
cb2 Crane Floor Lamp $149.99 Black/Brass

Ballard Designs Apothecary Lamp $119 (Various Finishes) (header image)
Land of Nod, base (various finishes) $69, shade sold separately
Target Shiloh Lamp $69.99 (various finishes)
Ikea Barometer, Nickel $54.99
Land of Nod, Jenny Lind, $149, (various colors)
Target, Modern Globe, $59.99
World Market, Toasted Almond, $159 (I went slightly over budget with this one!)

Following is a combined view of the ten budget floor lamps identified in this post:

I hope this round-up will be helpful for those of you in the market for a new floor lamp.

Have a good day!
