With Mother’s Day quickly approaching (Sunday, May 14) I thought it might be helpful to come up with some ideas for relatively inexpensive gifts (all under $50) for the mothers and mother-figures in your lives. These would also make good hostess or birthday gifts.
This hand cream is fantastic!
They have so many pretty notecards to choose from!
This is delicious tea–I love all their black teas. I’m not an herbal tea drinker but I have heard that they are equally good.
I have my eye on these pretty linen color napkins!
These are lovely coffee table books with gorgeous illustrations that would be perfect for framing. I saw them at Costco last week for slightly less and was very tempted!
Who doesn’t love chocolate covered caramels?! I haven’t tried these but Ina Garten says that when she doesn’t have time to make her own caramels for hostess gifts she buys these. I trust anything Ina says about food! Speaking of Ina, her Barefoot Contessa cookbooks are my absolute favorite, and any of them would make a great gift.
I love the colors and the jute material for summer–the personalization makes it extra nice. It is rare to find a tote that zips shut but this one does so you can use it safely as a purse.
You could add a special photo to the frame for a personal touch.
I have one of these necklaces and wear it a ton in the summer. I like the idea of a stack of these bracelets in a variety of tassel colors. So fun for the warm weather!
I use these in my purse to keep organized and they are great! The Orly Kiely prints are fun and all different and they are made of a waxed cotton that doesn’t get dirty or worn looking.
Hope these ideas are helpful! What are your favorite gift ideas for Mother’s Day?
