I imagine that many of you are starting to get your porches and other outdoor spaces freshened up for spring and summer. Although I don’t have any outdoor spaces to decorate, I know exactly what rug I would use on a porch or patio if I had one!
The company Dash and Albert, founded by Annie Selke, makes fabulous rugs, and Dash and Albert indoor/outdoor rugs are the prettiest and nicest that I have seen. The rugs come in a huge variety of colors, sizes, and patterns. They are super easy to clean—you just hose them down and scrub any stains with soap and a brush, and they dry quickly and look like new. They are made of polypropylene, a synthetic, but they amazingly look and feel like they are woven of natural fibers.
These rugs work really well inside, too, and are especially good in high-traffic areas like mudrooms, entrances, kitchens, bathrooms and stairs. They are perfect if you have pets and kids. I have two of these rugs in our apartment (see below photos)—in front of the kitchen sink and in the guest bathroom—and I love them.
Here are some photos I found of other rooms that feature Dash and Albert rugs:
The dogs in those photos are awfully cute, but what do you think of the rugs?
