Links for the Weekend: One Room Challenge

Happy weekend! This week, I’m doing something a little different with my links for the weekend post. I want to share the links for blogs and designers that I’m following along with as they participate in the 11th season of the One Room Challenge.

For those of you who are unfamiliar with the One Room Challenge, here is a description: Many bloggers and designers are participating in a challenge to totally redesign one room in their home over the course of six weeks.  Each week on their blogs they give updates on their progress. There are 20 featured designers who receive sponsorships (House Beautiful is the official media sponsor), that you can find here, and there are almost 300 guest participants that you can find here.  I always enjoy following along and seeing the room transformations over the course of the six weeks.

Here are the moodboards for some of the guest participants whose rooms I think are very promising:

Now onto the featured designers. Here are a few of the designs that I’m most looking forward to:

Suburban B’s are doing a fun and colorful tween girl’s bedroom — love that cactus wallpaper and swinging chair! (header image as well)

That’s who I’m following along with for the ORC — whose rooms are you looking forward to seeing?

  1. One Room is such a cool challenge. It makes sense that some are sponsored. I was trying to figure out how they afforded all of that several years in a row. It would be cool to do it and just finally finish a room – that’s my problem. I run out of budget and then move on to another area – haha!
