With St. Patrick’s Day coming up next week, I thought it would be appropriate to highlight rooms that are primarily green.
I have always been drawn to the color green–it reminds me of nature, and I find it soothing and pleasant. I read that green is the most restful color for the eye and can even improve your vision!
A green focus may be particularly timely this year, as the color institute Pantone has chosen a yellowish spring green called Greenery as the 2017 color of the year:
The Greenery color is a bit too vibrant for my taste, but in a small dose here or there it can be refreshing.
Here are some rooms and exteriors that use different shades of green in attractive ways:
The building pictured above isn’t painted green, but with all the lovely vines covering its walls, it is effectively green.
